Workshop on psycho social training for the trainers

Three days residential Workshop on Psycho Social training for the trainers was launched from 25.06.2010 to 27.06.2010 at the Thiyana Illam, Pandatharippu, to swing up their training skills. Dr.S.Sivathas, Psychiatrist, of the hospital, Vavunjiya, facilitated as the resource person.

23 trainers of both sex participated in the workshop. The IHDP (Intergraded Human Development Programme) unit of the HUDEC, Community volunteers, Leaders of the Community based Organizations and the Village leaders also attended the Workshop. At the end, all the participants made an on the spot study of the stressed people in the Village.
