Children Homes at Swamithoddam, Mullaitivu
The children affected by the Tsunami disaster are looked after at children's home at Swamithoddam, Mullaitivu. Most of the children taken care of this home lost their parents. Rev.Fr.Robinson is in charge for the boys' home and there are 30 boys from age 6 to 16 are taken care of. Caritas Jaffna - HUDEC has built temporary shelters & study hall for these children.
Holy Family Girls Home at Swamithoddam, Mullaitivu
The Holy Family Sisters are in charge for the girls' home and 35 children are as inmates. The Advance Level students are given additional tuition classes. Caritas Jaffna - HUDEC has built temporary shelters and studyhall for these tsunami-affected children.
