MEDICAL CARE - HUDEC
MULLAITIVU ZONE

Services rendered:

a)	Distribution of medicines that were not available at PUTHUKKUDIYIRUPPU Hospital. Distribution of disinfectant and a water-pump to the same hospital. Consolation the victim admitted in the hospital.
b)	Distribution of medicines at the MULLAITIVU Hospital.
c)	Visited the MATERNITY CLINIC at MULLAWALAI where the victims are admitted.
d)	Visited the displaced people camped at VITHIYANANDA COLLEGE, MULLAIYAWALAI  and consoled them.
e)	Medicines worth 87,000 LKR were used in this service.

2. Needs Assessment

• Bed sheets for Puthukkudiyiruppu hospital.
• Suitcases, lamps, slippers to the displaced people.
• Strong antibiotics, analgesics for Mullaitivu hospital.
• Medicines for "MEDICS" clinics.
• More volunteers for Mulliyawalai Maternity Clinic.
• More medicines for Mulliyawalai Maternity Clinic.
• Greater understanding and co-ordination of the various medical care units and NGOs that are operative is the Mullaitivu zone.
